Historic Designation Community Meeting

Tuesday, December 13, 7:00 pm at Stonewall Abbey

Did you know Sperryville has had a historic district since 1982? Perhaps you have a historic marker on your house?

For several years, the Sperryville Community Alliance has been working to expand the current historic district boundaries which will allow us to document and celebrate the rich history and families in our fair Village.

Please join us Tuesday December 13th at 7PM for an information session at Stonewall Abbey Wellness (44 Main Street) hosted by Sperryville Community Alliance in partnership with Virginia’s Department Historic Resources. We'll discuss the current Historic District and how an expanded district will benefit all residents. Speakers will include Aubrey Von Lindern, a representative from Virginia's Department of Historic Resources as well as Maral Kalbian, a published Architectural Historian and contractee for the project.
