SperryFest Pickin’ Party

Bring your acoustic instrument and Join our Old-Time, Open Jam and Pickin' Party!

Calling all pickers and players!
Hey Rappahannock neighbors—got a fiddle, banjo, or just a love for good old-time tunes?

SperryFest is hosting its very first Old-Time Open Jam & Pickin’ Party on Saturday, April 25th from 12–2 PM under the Community Zone tent on the Schoolhouse lawn. Smokin Trout, our talented local musical group, will be hosting, and they’ll get things rolling with some classic traditional tunes we all know and love. Smokin’ Trout kicks things off with a set at 10am and then everyone begins pickin' at noon.

If you play fiddle, banjo, mandolin, upright bass, guitar, or any acoustic instrument, bring it along and jump in. No auditions, no judgment - just a good circle of folks pickin' and grinnin' and making music together. Please RSVP with the form below.

And if you’d rather just kick back and listen, you’re more than welcome to do that.

Let’s fill the lawn with music and show the SperryFest attendees what this community can do!

Please email questions to contact@sperryfest.com
